Synopsis
This article provides information on how to configure the Windows 2008 RemoteApp in PCS.

How to configure the Windows 2008 RemoteApp in PCS.
Cause
Solution
The Remote App Manager role from the Server Manager needs to be installed in Windows 2008 Server; once this step is complete, RemoteApp programs can be added.

The following image illustrates the RemoteApp Manager feature:



In the SA, to configure the Terminal Server, go to Users > Resource Profiles > Terminal Services > New Profile:



Under the Bookmarks tab, select the Launch Seamless Window checkbox and type the Alias Name, as mentioned in the RemoteApp Manager, and the application patch in Working directory:

 


When the user logs in, the terminal service bookmark is displayed and when it is clicked, the RemoteApp is launched; as illustrated in the following image:
