Synopsis
When attempting to connect with Pulse Secure Linux client, the end user will see the following error messages:
 
ncsvc[p6314.t6314] DSInet.info IVE host XXX.XX.XXX.XX resolved to XXX.XX.XXX.XX, port 443 (dsinet.cpp:311)
ncsvc[p6314.t6314] DSInet.error failed to connect to (XXX.XX.XXX.XX) error 110 (dsinet.cpp:383)
ncsvc[p6314.t6314] dsclient.error unable to open URL: (https://XXX.XX.XXX.XX) with error -7 (dsclient.cpp:299)
ncsvc[p6314.t6314] ncapp.error Failed to authenticate with IVE. Error 2 (ncsvc.cpp:253)
Problem or Goal
When an end user tries to connect using Pulse Secure Linux client, no error message will be produced on the terminal window or PCS logs.  Please review the ncsvc.log to confirm the error message above.
Cause
The issue is due to a Pulse Secure Linux client prematurely closing the tcp connection.
Solution
This issue will be resolved in 8.1R8 and 8.2R2.
