Synopsis
This article describes an issue where Pulse Secure Application Launcher (PSAL) prompts "Failed to Contact Server. Check your network connection and try again" when launching Citrix virtual desktop profile.
Problem or Goal
When an end user attempts to launch citrix virtual desktop profile, Pulse Secure Application Launcher (PSAL) will prompt the following error message:
Failed to Contact Server. 
Check your network connection and try again.

 
Cause
This issue occurs due to a Pulse Secure Application Launcher is not passing the correct parameters causing the connection to fail.
Solution
To resolve this issue, please upgrade to the following releases:
  • Pulse Connect Secure 8.3R3 and above
  • Pulse Connect Secure 8.2R11 and above
