KB13815 - "Internal server error" message when clicking Cancel button in ACE one time password page.

Users browser displays “Internal server error” message when Cancel button is clicked on the One Time Password (OTP) page.
Problem or Goal
Users affected:

Users using Custom sign-in page and trying to authenticate to ACE server.  After entering the initial username and password to sign-in they are then prompted for a OTP.  In the OTP page when user clicks on "Cancel" button browser displays “Internal Server error”.

NOTE: The error does not occur when using a default sign-in page.
Issue is fixed in PCS OS versions 6.3R4 and 6.4R1 onwards.

If you have previously created and used a custom sign-in page on earlier PCS OS version, perform the following steps to fix this issue:
  1. From your custom sign-in page open Defender.thtml and Defender-ppc.thtml
  2. Search for lines:

    <input type="submit" value=" Sign In " name="btnAction">
    <input type="submit" value="Cancel" name="btnAction">
  3. Replace them with:

    <input type="submit" value=" Sign In " name="btnAction" onClick="return (document.frmDefender.password.value != '');">
    <input type="submit" value="Cancel" name="secidactionCancel">
  4. Save files.
  5. Add this modified custom sign-in zip file to the custom sign-in policy for changes to take effect.
