4658 - How to change the port number for virtual traffic manager (vTM) Admin GUI?

This article provides information how to change the port number for the vTM appliance.

The vTM Admin Server is normally run on port 9090 on each Traffic Manager. To change the port, perform the following steps:

From Admin Console:

1. From the top menu, click System > Security
2. Under Management IP Address and Admin Server Port, modify the adminport field

3. Click Update

From the CLI:

1. Change the value of the variable port in the file: $ZEUSHOME/admin/website
2. Restart the Admin Server with the command:

​$ZEUSHOME/admin/rc restart
