Solution
Exporting SSL certificates from Traffic Manager to IIS server.
  1. If the host that is running Traffic Manager has openssl installed, you can perform these steps right on the Traffic Manager. If not, you can sftp or scp the ssl certificate and private key from the Traffic Manager, to a host running openssl. The SSL Public Cert and Private Key are found on the Traffic Manager at $ZEUSHOME/zxtm/conf/ssl/server_keys.

  2. To import your certificate to Windows, you will first need to combine your primary certificate with your private key file in a .pfx type backup file. To do this, use the following command:
    openssl pkcs12 -export -out /tmp/sample.pfx -inkey sample.private -in sample.public

This creates a backup of your primary certificate called sample.pfx. Copy this file to your IIS Server.

  3. Once you have copied the .pfx file to your Windows server, follow the instructions for importing your .pfx file to Windows IIS server.
