This article describes about the change in the Virtual Adapter name from 9.1R12 and higher versions
Problem or Goal
Below 9.1R12 version we used to see the virtual adapter name as "Ethernet adapter Local area connection".
Cause
The driver was updated in 9.1R12 and Virtual adapter .inf file was modified due to which we see the change in the virtual adapter name from 9.1R12 and above.
Solution
From 9.1R12 and above version, we see the virtual adapter name as " Ethernet adapter ethernet "
