The article describes about the issue where installation of Pulse Upgrade Helper tool fails on a Windows machine having 2 byte character username.
Problem or Goal
Users having 2 byte character username fail to install Pulse upgrade helper tool with the below error:
There was a trouble in the conversion from string to wstring when string have Unicode characters. A code fix has been provided to fix it.
The fix for the issue is added in 9.1R16.
Please install the PulseUpgradeHelperInstaller.msi attached to the KB to the machine directly to fix the issue.
