KB21505 - Unable to launch SBR administrator

This article describes the issue of being unable to launch SBR administrator. In the SBR administrator web page, when the 'Launch' button is clicked, the SBR administrator application is not initiated.
Problem or Goal
The SBR Administrator is not initiated, when the Launch button is clicked, in the SBR administrator web page. The applet starts loading, displays 0%, disappears, and fails to launch the SBR administrator application. However, it works when launched from the SBR server itself, and other desktops. SBR GEE version 6.15 is installed on Windows Server 2008. The laptop that had issues in accessing SBR administrator, runs on Windows 7 operating system and has the Internet Explorer 7/8 and Mozilla Firefox 3.6 browsers installed on it.
To resolve the issue, perform the following steps:
  1. Delete the Java Cache (Control Panel > Java > General > Temporary Internet files > Settings > Delete).
  2. Delete the WebDeployer folder located under C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Juniper Networks\
  3. Open a new browser window and launch the SBR administrator.
