KB21893 - When joining a cluster, generates the 'License Server configuration mismatch' error message
Last Modified Date

This article describes an issue with a node joining a cluster resulting in the "License Server configuration mismatch" error message.
Problem or Goal
When a node joins a cluster, the admin will see the following error message:
License Server configuration mismatch.
This error message will occur under the following scenario:
Cluster was created on Node A
Node B has been configured to a license server
This behavior is expected to avoid overwriting the license server configuration on Node B.
To resolve the issue, use the node configured to the license server to create the cluster configuration as well.
