Cause
Solution
This is the behavior of the OS. If the /etc/hostconfig file has HOSTNAME=-AUTOMATIC-, Mac OSX will automatically determine the computer name, when connecting to Network Connect. Change the HOSTNAME value to a static name, so that the host name does not change.
