Synopsis
This article provides information on how to enable Pulse Secure, Network connect and IKEv2 in PCS 7.2 or later.
Problem or Goal
In PCS 7.2 or later, Network connect, Pulse Secure Client, and IKEv2 come under a single option - VPN Tunneling.

Cause
Solution
Common SA configurations for Pulse Secure Client, Network connect, and IKEv2:

  1. Go to User Role > (select a role) > General Overview and enable VPN Tunneling
  2. Go to User Role > (select a role) > VPN tunneling and select the required options.
  3. Go to Resource Policies > VPN tunneling and configure the required Access Control, Connection profiles, Split tunneling networks, and so on.

Pulse Secure specific configuration:

To deliver/install Pulse Connect Secure via PCS , enable User Role > (select a role) > General Overview > options > Pulse Secure Client

Network connect specific configuration:

To deliver/install Network connect via SA, disable User Role > (select a role) > General Overview > options > Pulse Secure

IKEv2 specific config:

For more information, refer to KB21321 - [PCS] Configure PCS IKEv2 and MSCHAPv2 Authentication in Windows 7

Note:

Pulse Secure and Network Connect specific configurations are there only to deliver/install the respective clients on the Windows system. Common configurations are already present in PCS; so a user who has already installed Pulse secure client  or NC can connect to PCS, by launching the Pulse Secure client or NC client (irrespective of Pulse Secure/ Network Connect specific configuration).
