Synopsis
This article provides information about the maximum number of characters that are supported to display a Windows file share file name via file browsing.
Problem or Goal
A user is trying to access a work document (abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz) within Windows file browsing. The user is unable to view the first 50 characters of the file name, when the actual file name is more than 50 characters:

Cause
Solution
If the length of the file name is greater than 50 characters, it is truncated to the first fifty character followed by ; This is working as designed.
