KB40110 - "Status is not available. Please check if pulse client is running" when checking status

The Pulse Linux client stores the temporary files required for connecting into user’s HOME directory. The error "Status is not available. Please check if the Pulse Client is running" will be printed if super user (root) does not have permission to write files into user’s HOME directory. 

 

1. Please change the HOME directory permission to allow root user to write files.
2. If HOME directory permission cannot be changed, Please set $HOME environment variable to writable path (like /tmp) before starting the “PulseClient.sh” script

Note: “PulseClient.sh –S” command also to be started after setting $HOME environment variable to same path to check the status.
