KB40205 - Sending Pulse logs on iOS device provisioned for Workspace fails with error "No mail account is configured"

This article provides details on the following error message that occurs on an iOS device provisioned for Workspace when the user attempts to send logs from the Pulse Mobile client.

No mail account is configured


Problem or Goal
An iOS user, whose device has been provisioned for Workspace, is attempting to send logs from the Pulse Mobile client application but the attempt fails with the following error message:
No mail account is configured.

The error prevents the iOS user from sending the Pulse logs, even though a valid email account is configured on the mobile device.
The default setting for Workspace is to restrict sharing between managed (corporate)  apps and unmanaged (personal) apps.  Since the Pulse client is installed as a "managed" app via Workspace, the Pulse application will attempt to use the "managed" mail application in order to send the logs.  If a mail client has not been provisioned by Workspace as a managed app, then the user will get an error message that there is no mail account configured.  
In the the Workspace policy, include an email client that users can access from their Workspace profile in order to send and receive mail.  This can be added to the Workspace policy at any time.
