« Go Back

Information

Last Modified Date8/13/2016 2:18 AM
Synopsis
This articles describes an issue where Pulse One is unable to detect changes and Publish To Group option is not available.

You have created a group of appliances all of which are running the same software release, but although Pulse one can see the configuration of each device Pulse one is not detecting changes made to any device nor is the Publish to group option being enabled.
Problem or Goal
When you create your appliance group, if the section left of the arrow is blank, that is a good indication that the version of code on your appliance does not support config distribution.

Cause
The issue occurs when running a Pulse Connect Secure or Pulse Policy Secure version that pre-dates the implementation of Configuration Distribution.
Solution
To resolve this issue, please upgrade to the latest release of Pulse Connect Secure 8.1, 8.2, or PPS 5.2, 5.3.

Note:  Both PCS 8.1 and PPS 5.2 config distribution is not fully flushed out, for full functionality upgrade to the latest 8.2 or 5.3 release.
