This article provides details on the types of licenses that can be leased from and surrendered to a license server.

	Polsec Subscription license (Eg : POLSEC-500U-1YR)	all platform models of PPS and VA-SPE (IC)
Permanent License	Polsec Permanent license (Eg: POLSEC-ADD-100U)	all platform models of PPS with MBR license except VA-SPE (IC)
	Consec Permanent license (Eg: CONSEC-ADD-2000U)	all platform models of PCS with MBR license except VA-SPE(SA)
	ACCESS-X600 permanent license (Eg: ACCESSX600-ADD-1000U)	MAG platform models only (leasable to both SA and IC personality) with MBR license installed in license client
	ACCESS-X500 permanent license (Eg : ACCESSX500-ADD-7500U)	SA-x500 and IC-x500 platforms only with MBR license installed in license client

Notes:

ICE, LAB and EVAL licenses cannot be surrendered to license server.
Subscription license cannot be surrendered, example error below:

LICENSE-SURRENDER-ERROR-WHEN-SUBSCRIPTION

If a license client surrenders a license and then goes offline, the 10-day grace period goes into effect.
If the license client does not come back online within the 10-day grace period, the license server will remove the surrendered licenses.
As long as the license server has connectivity to the license client that surrendered its licenses, these licenses will remain available on the license server until the license client recalls them.
