KB40439 - All Host Checker policies are being evaluated when reaching a sign-in page for Pulse Connect Secure (PCS) device

This article describes an issue where all host checker policies are being evaluated when reaching a sign-in page instead of the configured policies on the realm.

When reaching a sign-in page, end user may notice multiple host checker policies are being evaluated instead of configured policies assigned to the realm.

This issue occurs when the end user is reaching the incorrect sign-in page.  The most common scenarios are the following:

• After the end user has reached the sign-in page, the following page is bookmarked.  Due to the previous step, the URL bookmarked would be https://<PCS_URL>/dana-na/auth/url_X/welcome.cgi instead of correct sign-in url.

To resolve the issue, ensure end users are creating a bookmark for the correct sign-in url which is configured on the sign-in policies.
