If the end user would like to connect using HTML5 Access and see the standard Windows logon screen, then Standard Encryption must be configured on the PCS device. Also, RDP endpoint should be configured for Standard encryption (non-NLA). For more information, please refer to Microsoft documentation depending on the version.
Admin created bookmark
- Login to the admin UI.
- Navigate to Users > Resource Profiles > HTML5 Access
- From the list, select the corresponding link under Bookmarks.
- Under Other Settings, select Standard RDP encryption.
- Click Save Changes
User created bookmark
- Login to the PCS device
- Under HTML5 Access Session, click the Edit icon.

- Under Other Settings, select Standard RDP encryption
- Click Save Changes
Note: Standard Encryption
does not require username and password and is a optional field
. Network Level Authentication does require username and password and is not a optional field. If the username and password field is blank with NLA, HTML5 Access will fail to connect.
