(The following applies to versions 18.1 and beyond. For details of older versions, see https://community.pulsesecure.net/t5/Pulse-Secure-vADC/Zeus-Usage-Tracking-information/m-p/27823 )

Data Collected:

All telemetry data reported by the traffic manager is anonymized and sent to Pulse Secure over an encrypted connection. The following table summarizes the data that is collected:

Telemetry DataPurpose
Traffic manager configurationUsed to determine what traffic manager features are enabled.

All secrets are removed from the configuration before it is exported. All configuration object names are anonymized, along with any potentially sensitive or personally-identifying information such as IP addresses, hostnames, TrafficScript rules, scripts and other custom files.

Traffic manager running statusUsed to determine patterns of usage for the traffic manager, such as which versions are in use and which features are supported by the system.
System profileUsed to determine patterns of deployment for the traffic manager, such as which platforms and hardware configurations are most common.
Statistical data relating to traffic that is sent and received by the traffic managerUsed to determine throughput trends and limits for guiding scalability decisions in feature development.
Resource usage by the traffic manager processesUsed to detect anomalous patterns of CPU and memory usage for traffic manager processes.

Configuration:

By default, the configuration option to send telemetry data is enabled.  The traffic manager's reporting of telemetry data can be enabled or disabled from the 'System > Global Settings > Telemetry' page by editing the telemetry!enabled setting. It can also be configured through the traffic manager's REST and SOAP APIs and through the 'zcli' command-line utility.
