This article describes an issue where end users may begin to experience slower than expected network speed after installing Pulse Desktop Client 9.0RX when not connect to a VPN tunnel.
Problem or Goal
When an end user is checking their network speed, they may experience slower than expected speed. Over time, the following speed may continue to decrease even when they are not connected to a VPN tunnel.
This issue impacts the following releases:
Pulse Desktop Client 9.1.1 (9.1R1) to 9.1.2 (9.1R2) (macOS)
Pulse Desktop Client 9.0.1 (9.0R1) to 9.0.3 (9.0R3) (macOS)
This issue does not impact the following releases:
Pulse Desktop Client 5.3R7 and below (Windows and macOS)
To resolve this issue, please upgrade to the following releases:
Pulse Desktop Client 9.1.3 (9.1R3) and above
Pulse Desktop Client 9.0.5 (9.0R5) and above
To immediate resolve the slower than expected network speed, a reboot of the Macbook will resolve the issue.
