The article describes an issue where host checker fails to detect Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.2 RU1 or 14.2 RU1 MP1 AV for macOS clients.
Problem or Goal
Host checker is not passing the AV check for Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.2 RU1 or 14.2 RU1 MP1 Anti Virus.
This issue occurs because host checker is currently unable to detect SEP 14.2 for macOS. For more information, please refer to the following Symantec KB ESCRT-2829: which is linked below.
Pulse Secure is aware of the issue and is actively working on a fix, we will update the KB once we have an ETA for the fix.
