Last Modified Date4/5/2020 10:21 AM
This article describes a scenario where REST API calls fail intermittently when executed in a loop continuously,
Problem or Goal
The REST API was introduced from PCS/PPS 8.3R3 & provides a standardized method for Next-Gen firewalls, NAC devices, and third party systems to interact with PCS. Representational state transfer (REST) or RESTful Web services are one way of providing interoperability between computer systems on the Internet. For more details, please refer to PCS/PPS REST API Solutions Guide.

These REST API calls may fail intermittently when executed in a loop continuously.
This issue occurs when REST API queries are executed in a loop continuously and may leave the system in a lock state.
This issue is resolved in Pulse Connect Secure / Pulse Policy Secure 9.1R5 and above. PCS/PPS 9.1R5 is now available for Download

  • Reboot the device.
