Synopsis
This article describes an issue where end users receive a blank page when attempt to login to Office365 with a Chromium-based browser and unable to send or review emails in the reading pane.
Problem or Goal
End user using a Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc) may receive a blank page when attempt to login to Office365 via the rewrite engine.  Additionally, end users may notice they are unable to send or review email using the reading pane with all browser types.
Cause
The issue occurs due to a bug in the rewrite engine.
Solution
To resolve this issue, please apply the following rewrite filter attach to this article.  The following filter was tested with 9.1R4 and above.

For instructions to install the rewrite filter, please refer to KB10195 - Installation instructions for rewrite filter.


Additionally, the following selective rewrite policy is recommended for Don't rewrite content: Do not redirect to target web server.
  1. Login to admin console
  2. Navigate to Users > Resource Policies > Web > Selective Rewriting
  3. Click New Policy
  4. In the Name field, enter a friendly name
  5. In the Resource field, enter the following:
*:*/*userbootsettings.ashx*
*:*/*sessiondata.ashx*
  1. Select the radio button to apply to All roles or Selected roles
  2. Under Actions, select the radio button for Don't rewrite content: Do not redirect to target web server
