This article describes an issue where Pulse client 9.1R8 and above installation & upgrade is failing on Windows 8 machines.
Problem or Goal
Pulse client 9.1R8 and above Standalone as well as browser based Installation & upgrade is failing on Windows 8 machine.
We have migrated our pulse client code base from VS2005 to VS2019.
PDC installation is missing 2 important dll's
To install the Pulse 9.1R8 client on Pre Windows 10 version requires the "Windows update ‘KB2999226’ " to be installed . Please refer below Microsoft KB link.
