Pulse Android Client : External release of 9.9.0 Pulse Android Beta Client

Their active participation is  important as they get to validate the upcoming release in the deployments, and provide early feedback to Pulse Secure, on ways Pulse can improve the experience for you and your user base.

This article provides information about the external release of Pulse Android beta client 9.9.0.
Problem or Goal
1. When does Pulse Secure plan to release the 9.9.0 Pulse Android client ?

Pulse Secure is planning to release Android Pulse Client 9.9.0 to production (Google Play) during the last week of Oct, 2021.

2. How do you apply for beta program ?

If not registered already, interested users and organizations can register for beta program by sending a mail to using your Google ID & Organization Name

3. If I find an issue, will Pulse Secure support assist ?

Yes, during beta testing, if any issue is found, you can send a mail to with details of the issue like a video, how to replicate issue,screenshots and Pulse client logs.

4. When does pulse Secure plan to release the external beta Client 9.9.0 for Android?

Pulse Secure will release the Android 9.9.0 beta client for testing on 11th Oct, 2021.

The key highlights of this release are:


  • Multiple SignIn URL Support
  • CNAME Support
  • Tenant CA Certificate Rotation

Classic VPN:

  • IPv6 + FQDN Split Tunnelling Support

Known Issues:

  • PAND-4594 - Allow IPv4 and Denied FQDN with same resource (enable FQDN precedence over IPv4), observed FQDN and IPv4 traffic is getting tunneled
