Synopsis

Unified Pulse Linux Client replaces Pulse Linux (NC) Client on Installers page from version PCS 9.1R9

This article provides details about the "Unified Pulse Linux Client" replacing Pulse Linux (NC) Client under the PCS installers Page. Pulse Linux (NC) Client will not be packaged and will not appear under Maintenance -> System -> Installers from version PCS 9.1R9.
Problem or Goal
The PCS installer page will now display only the new "Unified Pulse Linux Client" as shown below:

Please refer to the Release Notes and the Admin Guide for more details,

 
Note:
1. Users will not be able to upgrade to this new client and fresh install is the way forward.
2. The connection profiles/sets cannot be exported from the old client to the new one.
3. If Pulse 9.1R9 package is uploaded to PCS versions prior to 9.1R9, the installers page, will show 32-Bit Pulse Linux
(NC) Client and 64-Bit Unified Pulse Linux Client.

 
Cause
Solution
Customers who need to download Pulse Linux (NC) Client can download it from https://my.pulsesecure.net.
 
Note:
  • Pulse Linux (NC) Client with eventually be deprecated. We will update this KB when we have more specific details.
  • If Pulse Linux (NC) clients aren't available under https://my.pulsesecure.net, it would mean that they weren't posted as there were no recent changes added to them.
