Synopsis
This article outlines the list of current open issues on Windows 11.
Problem or Goal
Pulse Desktop (Windows) client 9.1R12 is compatible with Windows 11.
Please find the list of Open & Known issues observed during testing with Pulse Desktop (Windows) Client 9.1R12 on Windows along with the workarounds (if any).

 
Cause
Solution
Known Issue # 1 : Pulse Desktop Client continuously changes between connected and disconnected states when it is connected to PCS that resolves to IPv6.
 
End User SymptomsEnd users will see disconnects & reconnects on the PDC UI.
WorkaroundPCS should resolve to IPv4 address.

Pulse Ivanti Bug #PRS-403519
Known Issue # 2 : (Host Checker) OS check will pass on Windows 11 systems even though the policy is configured for "Windows 10-64-Bit".
 
Root CauseThis is Windows 11 Operating System related.

Root CauseWork in Progress to set Edge as the default external browser.
WorkaroundUse Embedded browser.

Known Issue # 6  : Pulse Client Agent Type on PCS “Active Users” Page shows as "Windows 10 Pulse Secure"  for Windows 11 end points. Similar issue is seen on Admin Overview page as well.

Known Issue # 7 : Pulse Desktop Client continuously changes between connected and connecting states when it is connected to PCS that is configured in ESP Transport mode along with (IP/FQDN) Split-Tunneling.
 
End User SymptomsEnd user session status fluctuates between Connecting/connected states.
WorkaroundConfigure ESP Transport mode with no Split-Tunneling.
