Synopsis
The article describes about the issue where the certificate check on Windows 11 fails with 'No cert' error.
Problem or Goal
When the users tries to access the PCS URL, we do not get a prompt for certificate to choose for either certificate check or certificate authentication.
It loops for a while and throws "No Cert" error.
Issue is applicable for following conditions:
1. Edge browser in IE mode on Windows 11 machine
2. Certificate check in the realm and role level.
3. Certificate authentication


NOTE: Certificate check works with all other browsers except for Edge in IE mode. There is no issue found with Pulse Desktop client as well.
Cause
Solution
The is not a Pulse issue. It is the issue found on the browser end(Edge in IE mode). Please open a Microsoft ticket to have this issue fixed.

WORKAROUND
Please add the PCS server URL to the trusted sites.
To do the same, please navigate to Internet Options -> Security -> Trusted Sites and add the PCS URL to the trusted sites.
