KB45429 - Unable to Dismiss Warning Banners in ICS 9.1R16

This article explains the issue on 9.1R16 ICS server where admin users cannot dismiss the banner warning message "For Better Performance HC Periodic Value Has TO Be More Than 60 Minutes".

After upgrading the PCS server version to 9.1R16, admin users may report the issue that they are not able to dismiss the warning message "For Better Performance HC Periodic Value Has TO Be More Than 60 Minutes".

Working behaviour of banner message:
- Banner message should go away when admin clicks on close icon. After logout and login, the banner messages should appear again.
- Banner message should go away when admin clicks Dismiss till next upgrade. After logout and login, the banner messages should NOT appear.

However, this is not working as expected on 9.1R16 for this banner message.
 

The root cause for this issue has been identified and the fix is incorporated in ICS 9.1R16.1 release (released on Sept 15th, 2022).
