KB9621 - How to completely uninstall/remove Host Checker

Synopsis
This article outlines how to completely remove Host Checker from a Windows, Linux or Mac endpoint in order to perform a clean install.  
Problem or Goal
If Host Checker fails to install or upgrade, it may be necessary to uninstall the existing Host Checker version and remove all directories associated with Host Checker in order to perform a clean install.  
Cause
Solution

For Windows OS:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and uninstall Host Checker. 
  2. Delete the following folder:​​​​
C:\Users\<profile>\AppData\Roaming\Pulse Secure\Host Checker


For Linux OS:

  1. Delete the following files from the <home_dir>/.juniper_networks/ folder:
dsHCLauncher_linux1.log, dsHostChecker_linux1.log and hostchecker.jar
  1. Empty the Trash

For mac OS

  1. Delete the following directory from the:
$HOME/Library/Application Support/Pulse Secure/HostChecker.app folder
  1. ​Empty the Trash
