KB22788 - Unable to launch CTS client when accessed via the Citrix bookmark

This article describes the issue of being unable to launch the Citrix application via the PCS bookmark.
Problem or Goal
The following error message is generated, when one of the applications on the Citrix application list, accessed via the bookmark page, is clicked:

To resolve the issue, perform the following procedure:
  1. Launch the IE browser.
  2. Click the Tools menu.
  3. Click Internet Option.
  4. Click the Security tab.
  5. Click Trusted sites and then the Sites button.  
  6. Select the PCS sign-in URL, if present, and then click Remove.
  7. Click OK.  

Now close the browser and in a new browser window, try opening the same Citrix application; it should open.
