« Go Back

Last Modified Date8/1/2015 3:30 AM
This article provides information on how to swap the functionality between the right and left mouse buttons, when using the RDP hob applet to logon to a remote server.
Problem or Goal
A user may be left-handed and used to it in their local machine. This setting leverages the functionality of the left-handed profile, which is used in the remote computer to which the user is logged on.
A line has to be manually added, by editing the HTML code in the HOB applet:
  1. Navigate to the required profile under Users > Resource Profiles.
  2. Select the Enable Java Support checkbox and then select Premier Java RDP Applet.
  3. Select the Configure HTML for the default applet checkbox. In the HTML text box, insert the following line:
<param name="SWAPMOUSEBUTTONS" value="YES">
  1. Click Save and Continue.
Note: The Left handed profile must be enabled for the user in the local machine and Remote server.
