KB40575 - HTML5 session does not recognize the Numlock setting which prevents the number pad from working

Synopsis
This article provides details about a limitation with HTML5 access where the session does not recognize the Numlock key setting as on/off. As a result, the number pad on the client keyboard does not work.
Problem or Goal
When an end user is connected using HTML5 Access, the number pad keys will not work on the client PC keyboard.  Pressing the Numlock key to enable the number pad does not resolve the issue.
Cause
This is a known issue with the HTML5 Access.
Solution
Enhancement request (CSC-I-201) has been filed for this issue.  Please contact your regional Sales Engineer or Account team for further information about the enhancement request.

The KB will be updated once a fix is available.
 

Workaround:

  1. From the Windows terminal session, use the search box to find On-Screen Keyboard

  1. From the On-Board keyboard, hit the Options button

  1. Click the checkbox for Turn on numeric key pad

  1. Click the NumLock button
User-added image

Keypad should start working through HTML5 session.
