Synopsis
This article describes an issue where always-on vpn does not always prompt user for credentials with Pulse Mobile for Android using a KNOX container.
Problem or Goal
When an end user opens the knox container, they may choose to ignore the Pulse Mobile client as network connectivity is not required at the time.  If the end user attempted to open the knox container again, they will notice no authentication prompt appears.
Cause
This issue occurs due to a current limitation with the Pulse Mobile client as the client will not attempt to authenticate if a time out or authentication failure occurs during the initial attempt.
Solution
If the following feature is required, please contact your Pulse Secure Account Manager and refer to the enhancement request (ANDR-134).
