KB45213 - Slowness in admin GUI while accessing Licensing Summary page in Licensing Server

This article describes an issue on Licensing Server experiencing slowness while accessing Licensing Summary page.

- This issue is observed in active-active cluster from the version 9.1R13 on license server.
- Gradual rise of CPU spikes to more than 50% while accessing the License summary page.
- We may also encounter with the event logs on the clients as below but lease the license to clients smoothly.

major - [127.0.0.1] - System()[] - License server low-level protocol error, server=x.x.x.x, Code = [52] :Got no response

 

The slowness noticed in New License Client, Add operation and displaying License Summary in A/A Cluster because multiple time disk IO operation happens for preparing license table with supported platform and supported features along with calculation to find out current reserved license count and current leased license count.

This issue is resolved in 9.1R15 and fixed slowness issue in accessing License Summary and New Client UI.
